This is a letter from a concerned daughter regarding her 84 year old father. They contacted this office a few months earlier, just after her dad had been placed on Hospice care. He was weak and frail. His hair was white. His skin was gray with yellowish overtones. He was losing weight and unable to eat. He was told that he had a liver condition and a pancreatic tumor. He had diabetes and was taking insulin. At the time of this letter, her father had recovered significantly. He was eating and gaining weight. His color is back and he stands upright, usually with a smile on his face. His hair is now dark brown. The consensus is that the liver and pancreas are now functioning normally.
Dear Kathy and Doc,
Couldn't wait to tell you about dad's appointment with Dr. ****. Boy did we have fun!! Dr. was amazed at how well dad is doing. ALL the blood results are in the normal range. He was so pleased! Finally he says, "Just what are you guys doing?" We told him that we were doing alternative health stuff and that dad was taking lots of supplements. We told him that we were working with you guys. His response? A BIG smile and "Whatever it all is, keep it up, don't change a thing!!" He was very sincere about it. He said that it definitely wasn't anything western medicine was doing, so just keep it up! This was a triumphant moment for us, and for you vicariously. I have been just waiting for this to happen!!
Dr. said that he felt we ought to go back to the pre-illness routine and start acting like a healthy guy. So he wants dad to come back after the first of the year and have a physical. He said he wasn't at all worried about the blood sugar. Dad had asked him about keeping an eye on it at home and Dr. said not to worry about it. It has been low for so long now that he is perfectly happy checking the average every 3 months or so.

It was so nice of you, Kathy, to write and ask how I am doing. I am happy to reply that I am doing very well. It is wonderful to be able to eat tomatoes and potatoes again without the slightest hint of a migraine. I really cannot believe it. I started out slowly at first and a few days ago I ate more pizza with tomato sauce than is good for anyone. I have been able to increase my daily dose of natural estrogens to a high enough level that the hot flashes are down to about 5-10 per day, down from about 40. Hurray!
The best part is that I seem to have more energy than I have had in the last few years. Perhaps this is because my body is no longer beleaguered by a hundred sensitivities. You tell me. And though I may never understand how or why the NAET works, I am livinig proof that it does. Many thanks to you for making this available.
At this time, I am just happy to be feeling so good and look forward to a more free and productive year than I have had in quite some time. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Molly

I would like to say that when I first started NAET, I did not know what it would do for me by the time I was finished. I was having problems with inner ear infections that were becoming a regular occupant every spring and I had been to all the doctors and taken all the medicines.
One of the main reasons I decided to try this approach was because of my allergies. I still had a month or so to go and had not even been treated directly for the specific allergies and I was already breathing better and was not so stuffed up in the morning.
The big thing that was really amazing to me was the things I did not consider. Whenever I would do any physical activity, no matter how fit I have been, it always was hard for me. I could not understand why after being so dedicated to whatever exercise I was doing that I was always winded, much more than I thought I should be.
I started walking in the woods and hitting some trails that I have done in the past and I did the whole walk without feeling exhausted! I could breathe more easily. I was not winded. I was surprised, that was the first time in years.
I used to only be bothered by hay fever and once the spring was done and the grasses cut, I was good to go. Over the last 3 years, even when the so called allergy season was over, I was not done and it continued right through summer, fall and winter. I whould wake up every morning, stuffed up, not being able to breath, sometimes waking in the night to get up to take an allergy pill. Then I started taking them before I went to bed all the time just so I could get through a night peacefully. They did not always do the job either.
Since I have finished the NAET program, I have been able to forego the allergy medicine all together. I wake up in the morning able to breath, no stuffiness.
Food allergies, I thought that it was just an age thing when I would come up against some food that was not agreeing with me. I would wake many mornings with my stomach upset. There were certain things I would eat or drink and I would get the worst stomach ache soon after or I just felt lousy later. Since the sessions, I have had no problems with my stomach and I have been able to eat and drink the things that bothered me before. I have to say I was a bit hesitant to try the onions. They really affected my stomach. Since the treatments, I have had several dishes with onions included and have done just fine.
Driving long distances were always hard. I would get an hour away from the house, maybe a bit further, and I would get so sleepy. Driving any long distance, I would not be able to go from point A to B without pulling over some times a couple times to rest my eyes or actually take a little cat nap. I am not sure why, maybe because of all the things that were bothering me, and I just was not getting the solid sleep I needed. But I have noticed that I just have more stamina. When I get tired driving, it is tired and not an over powering sleepy feeling and I have been on the road for a while, so I should be tired. I guess it is all about the stamina and more energy.
This is a program that I will continue to use for the rest of my life. I can't believe that after all the doctor visits and all the conventional medicine and methods that I have tried and then finally just accepted the fact that this was just life happening to me. What a relief it is to realize that this is not the case.
Thank you,
Cathy
LISA
At fourteen, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, which is chronic inflammation of the colon. I took a number of medications and had surgery to try to correct this debilitating digestion disease. However, at twenty-nine I had no other option left but to have ileostomy surgery. This meant that I would spend the rest of my life wearing an outside appliance (bag) that would collect my waste. I lived for 10 years with the ileostomy and it gave me back my life. During those 10 years I received a college degree, worked as a Paramedic and got married.
While looking for improved ostomy supplies, I stumbled upon a website that I had never seen before. The focus of this site was teh Barnett Continent Intestinal Reservoir (BCIR). It was being promoted as an appliance free lifestyle (no more bag). I would no longer have to worry about a bag falling off or having it hang off my body. The BCIR is a surgically created pouch, or reservoir inside of the abdomen, made from the last part of the small intestine and is used for storage of intestinal waste. I talked with over 30 patients via email and it looked like I would be a good candidate for surgery.
My post op recovery went well and I was sent home on antibiotics like all patients after the BCIR. Although I was enjoying my ne found freedom of life without the bag, I later developed chronic Pouchitis. Pouchitis is an inflammatory condition involving the tissues lining the pouch. I have suffered with chronic pouchitis since my surgery in September 2000. In May 2002 I was so sick that I had to hospitalized for three weeks. My BCIR was full of ulcers and I felt like I had ulcerative colitis all over again. I was so sick that I even required a blood transfusion. My gastroenterologist and my surgeion in Florida have been following my case and basically my options were limited to either antibiotics for life or return to my ileostomy.
I had made several self imposed attempts to gradually reduce my antibiotic intake and sadly found that over time, I always needed the large dosages I was used to taking to relieve the symptoms of Pouchitis. I had just started another attempt at reducing the dosages, when I met Dr. Holland in September, 2002. He ran a full allergy test on me and discovered a lot of things my body was sensitive too. Dr. Holland knew I had the support from my GI doc and my surgeon, who had both told me that if alternative medicine works "Go for it", and so I was. So Dr. Holland and I began a new treatment plan. Each time I reduced my antibiotic intake down to the next dosage, Dr. Holland would test the dose on the Bio Meridian machine and I would make my decision based on that reading. I keep in touch with my GI doc and my surgeon on a regular basis, and they are aware of my new progress and happy for me as well.
I was very skeptical at first, because I have worked in the medical field for 20 years and anything not mainstream, was not valid in my mind. Desperation, however, is a strong driving force and I was at the end of my rope with nothing to lose. We started working the new plan, and to my amazement, I started to improve dramatically. After a short period of treatments, I was able to remain off of antibiotics for four weeks. That in itself is a miracle compared with the last 2 1/2 years during which this had not been possible. As long as I am on antibiotics I get chronic yeast infections that required prescription drugs. Dr. Holland is able to treat me with alternative methods; the end result is that I have not taken any drugs to treat the yeast.
I thank God for Dr. Holland and the work that he does; I know first hand that it has made huge improvements in my overall health and life style. When I started treatment with him my body was in crisis. I know that I have a slow, long road back to my optimum health and I look forward to the future when I am free of antibiotics and all the side effects that go along with them.

SANDI SUE AND BRAUCKE
I am a single, full time working mother with hopes and dreams of a better future. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in 1999. At 7 months old, by son was diagnosed with a chronic illness. Three medications daily and treatments every 3-4 hours. My son has had pneumonia 4 times, and struggled to breathe daily. Each time a cold or cough began, the drugs were doubled due to pneumonia setting in. I could not work for months at a time, and this continued for the duration of his life. I would lie awake and watch his tiny chest move to see if he was still breathing.
In February 2001, my son had been ill for three weeks and to end in sight. I met a customer in my store, Ms. Kathy K., who reached out with an unconditional heart and told me of a doctor in town who might be able to help; for he had blessed her life as well. She gave me hope for the first time in years when I did not think anyone was listening.
My son became ill this past January. Six different medications and I was out of work for another six weeks. I inquired about this doctor, made an appointment, and met the man we call our angel, "Braucke's angel." I began with NAET and could remove 3 medications within one week. I took my son outside and went for a walk, without any complications. I even drove to Ashland for our first trip away from home.
By the second week, Braucke was not on any medication at all. NOTHING. He was running, eating, sleeping, playing with his toys, and most of all, he was taking each and every breath without struggle. I was always tokd to not let him out in the rain, keep him bundled, don't let him run, for he would have an attack and everything would stop. My last appointment was in March and my son is drug free with no limitations.
